Rachel Simpson Wedding Shoes 2012 Collection

September 16, 2011

I love the story behind Rachel Simpson’s wedding shoes… it’s almost like a fairy tale. Whilst studying at De Montfort University, Rachel was really passionate about the art of shoe making, so much so that she built a workshop at the bottom of her garden and filled it with a couple of old footwear machines. This love of shoe making and real desire to create well made, fashionable wedding shoes has in my opinion allowed Rachel to blossom into one of the best wedding shoe designers in the UK.

Her 2012 wedding shoe collection is simply stunning and contains a selection of traditional white and ivory wedding shoes as well as some more vibrant colours. Here are a few of our favourites!

The use of pale rose suede and metallic champagne leather work really well on this pair of 1920’s inspired, t-bar peep-toe wedding shoes.
